I was quite overwhelmed by the response to my request for volunteers to test The Collage Sweater pattern – there are so many talented and enthusiastic sewists out there around the world. I picked a couple from each size and loved seeing all the different versions being made up by a brilliant group. A big thank you to all the volunteers and testers for helping me get the pattern ready!
Atia of The Bright Blooms, a fellow Londoner whose colourful blog and IG feeds always brighten the day, and leave me wondering why my bit of London looks so much greyer, made 3 versions of Option B. Her daughter has a slight build and making a size based just on her height ended up a little bulky (although this oversized fit worked great for my older daughter) so she graded between a 3 and a 6.
Anja from It’s a Siwsiw Thing blew me away with her supercool monochrome version for her son…
…and one with just a few extra details for her daughter!
Pilar of PilarBear whose focus on sustainable fashion is always inspiring made this lovely version of Option B with some matching tracksuit bottoms.
Nat (49tamtam1979) made this cheerful version captured beautifully with these action shots…
Tessa (@springatet) whose beautiful mustard Sapporo Coat inspired me to make one too, made some great versions including this dusky blue beauty.
Melanie (@mimamellie) made one of each option for her daughters. A minty colour block Option A and a not so plain version of Option B in a delicious pink and mustard print from See you at Six fabrics.
Sally (@sallifer) made this floral colour block version that is perfect for spring.
Jo (@pipandjoy) made this sweet version for her little girl…
